SILVIA JIMÉNEZ GUTIÉRREZ
Architect & Industrial Designer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Bogota, Colombia. Then She studied a post-master's degree in Architecture, Natural Risks, sustainability and international cooperation ; at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Belleville in Paris, France.

In her professional and academic career she has been working and researching on five continents. In these travels she has been accompanied by her watercolors and her sketchbook, keeping a record of local life and learning from the observation.
​
Originally from the coffee region of Colombia, daughter of architects and passionate about art. She is preceded by a tradition in the use of Guadua (local bamboo) and natural materials in construction.
